In this world there are many Religions and every religion have their different festivals. In Muslims there are two main festivals also called Eid, Eid ul Adha and Eid ul fitar. Eid is a festival of Muslim's that is celebrated all over the world. Eid ul adha is also known as the festival of sacrifice and sacrifice feast. Eid ul Adha is celebrated on the tenth day of Dhuj Hijja.
The festival of Eid ul Adha is celebrated in the remembrance of Prophet Abraham's readiness to forfeit Ishmael, his son for God.
Basically the story about the festival tells how prophet Abraham was ready to sacrifice his most precious blessing thing in his life for ALLAH.
Abraham had a dream in which Allah asked him to sacrifice his son.
Eid ul Adha is known through several names all over the world like ''Kurban Bayrami'' or ''Sacrifice feast'' in Singapore and Malaysia it is known as ''Hari Raya Haji''. In west africa it is known as ''Tabaski''.
In south east Asia it is known as ''Hari Raya Aidiladha'' among Indians it is known as ''Id Al adha or Idu'z Zuha'', In Bangladesh and Pakistan it is Known as ''Eid ul Azha or Id al Adha''. One can see that this festival of Eid ul adha is known through so many names in different parts of the country but the spirit  to celebrate this festival among all Muslims remain the same irrespective of the location.
Now come to my journey of Eid, on the first day of Eid we perform prayer known as ''Eid Namaz'' and then after performing the namaz we met together with friends, family members, neighbors and we wishes for Eid to everyone. Children plays with goats and cows they feed them they took care of them and they also called them with differnt names, after eid namaz we sacrifice the animals and then we distributed meat to poor peoples to family to neighbors. actually this eid bring happiness to poor people who are not able to buy meat on eid ul adha they get meat and they eat healthy food. On the eid day Muslims cook very much delicious and sweet food in their houses and they distribute it in their neighbors. Relatives comes to home and we had lunch together in night, we had bar b que parties at night, we spend time with families, relatives and friends  and children get money from everyone the money we give to our children is called ''eidi''.
Muslims all over the world wait every year for eid.
Eid!! seems to be a little word but it means a lot to the Muslims all over the world
Eid is somethimg that bring family and friends closer to each other.
The date of Eid-al-adha is approximately 70 days (2 months and 10 days) after the end of the month of Ramadan.
Ritual observance of the eid holyday lasts until sunset of the 13th day of Dhu al-hijjah   Eid-Ul-Adha is a time  when Muslims pray for forgiveness from God and strength of faith. They, in turn, forgive others, releasing any feelings of enmity or ill feeling towards others. Many Muslims exchange greeting cards at this time. Muslims use the occasion to pray to Allah and to glorify His name to demonstrate the remembrance of His grace and favours. Muslims also remember the deceased by praying for their souls to rest in peace. The needy and vulnerable in society are also remembered by showing them sympathy and consolation
Even in the most joyful times, the Muslim makes a fresh start of the day by a session of congregational prayers to Allah in an open space.
