Rocket Truck Tour
It was a nice breeze and a slow moving train in my dream suddenly my mom woke me up from my dream and said your dad got it into accident and I rushed to put my shirt on and went to the accident site near Tandoadam!
The car was crashed into the back of Heavy loader truck by hitting the brakes suddenly while the donkey cart came in front The Loader truck! It was a mess of two very opposite size vehicle the small “Suzuki Mehran” and huge “Man Heavy Loader Truck”. My dad broke his arm and some cuts and burses on face but my dad gave him some first aid immediately after the collapse of car. He was an Ex-Military person he was trained for such shocking situations so he was conscious and in senses but bravely facing the injury, he had a positive shine on his bleeding face while people around him were stunned by my dad courage. Police was also there he faced the police and let the driver of the truck go free because he saved some lives by braking hard but unfortunately he hit the truck from back. After few days my dad recovered a bit and said I want to repair my car and asked me to shit the car to Karachi and on the next day I hired a Rocket truck for transporting the broken car and hired a crane for loading the broken car. We loaded the car in two hours and i was interested in the Rocket truck tour for Karachi. The driver of the truck was an amazing funny person but a real careless driver. We started the 300km journey at around 3pm and I was expecting the journey of about 4 to 5 Hours but that extended up to 10 hour! These 10 Hours were like a 3D motion ride for 10 Hours, inside the cabin of the truck was a very bumpy ride having an old classic music in the speakers and driver was driving very slowly but having careless attitude. I asked the driver about the accidents and other hard times, Driver Majeed answered that, “The road is full of death opportunities, our Pakistan’s Economy is going down day by day we drive truck and feed our poor families we have faith that Life and death is in the hands of Allah we just drive the truck and earn money to support our families”.  As we entered Karachi a policeman gave the signal to stop and driver pulled over to be asked suspected simple inquiry by the policeman but that policeman asked for 500Rs/- from driver, I rushed to the driver side and replied him, “what are you charging him 500/RS?” the police man said you stay silent and the driver knows the drill if he will not pay 500/Rs, he will not be able to move any more. The driver just took out the 500/Rs from his pocket and handed over to him and started the ignition for rolling on again. I asked the driver later why you gave him 500/Rs bribe he replied, “This system is killing the economy of a poor and common labor” there was a grief on driver face after this moment. We finally reached the Karachi and delivered the car to the Workshop while I stayed with my Uncle’s home near Workshop to spend the night. The whole tour was amazingly new experience for me but I learnt many deep thoughts and system incapability of the government and our People suffer the consiquences!
