After the Eid-ul-fitr of 2017 china port destination became very popular among the people of Karachi. Karachi youth is full of energized and adventures. When the video of china port became viral and popular on the social media it became very famous. The people of Karachi always try to find new places for entertainment. The route of china port is from sea view road going straight towards dolmen mall after the sea view MacDonald’s go straight, then there is left turn from there off-road starts, after 10 minutes driving on the off-road. On the way you will see some factories because it's an industrial area. The route is little difficult due to in unavailability of proper roads. After all the difficulties there is a beautiful view of sea fully open, peaceful with fresh air which will throw all your tiredness away. The amazing view will boost up your energy level and you will feel very much cool. Karachi city is a very populated city and very noisy also. People of Karachi want some place for entertainment which is away from the city, and china port is one of them.

The reason behind calling this place china port is that it was made by collaboration of Hong Kong based Hutchison and Karachi port trust (KPT). There is a pavement of tetrapod's rocks to create a water break for the harsh sea waves of Arabian sea. Tetrapod's rocks have a weird shape, when they placed around and above each other you'll be surprised to know that these rocks actually serve an important purpose. When the sea become angry and produce gigantic waves

These rocks will slow down the power of waves. Waves are generated by wind passing over the surface of the sea. waves strike to these rocks but they trapped in the geometric holes made in these rocks. The purpose of using these rocks is to protect the nearby structures, shores, ships and many other things which are surrounded with the port. 

These rocks are very unique and new for the people of Karachi because they had only seen them in movies or in foreign countries. Japan is the first country to use these rocks for tackling huge waves of tsunami. A huge number of people came daily to enjoy their evening on these rocks. People started thronging the spot in large numbers, small vendors have also rushed to the place and set up their makeshift business to serve the visitors. Moreover, there is a tower 30' feet tall in the middle of these rocks people use to climb over it for enjoyment and for a full view of china port.

As these rocks have holes there is a risk of falling in these holes and this can cause serious injuries. People should be careful while standing on these rocks. These rocks are put in deep sea it can also be a chance of falling from these rocks into the deep sea, public should be aware of it.

When this place was open for general public it was very clean there was no garbage at there. But as time passes people started to abuse its natural beauty. From trash in the clean water to people spitting pan on the rocks, the situation has put us in an embarrassment making us ask ourselves, “do we deserve such places?” we should keep our trash with our self and throw it in a dustbin when we go back to our home.  Let’s save at least one destination for the future generation which is pan and trash-free!
